
Mukunda Shanbhag is a litigator and business attorney who brings a diverse set of skills from varied practice areas. Mukunda’s previous practice includes litigation in state and federal court, including business/contract litigation, appellate practice, real estate, and immigration, as well as transactional work, including regulatory compliance for professionals and businesses and real estate lease negotiation.
Most recently, Mukunda defended clients from state and federal lawsuits related to general tort liability as well as Section 1983 claims against governmental entities. In this capacity, Mukunda worked closely with clients to resolve pending litigation and formulate strategies to minimize future litigation risk.
Mukunda’s diverse experience allows him to guide clients through a wide range of issues from both litigation and transactional perspectives and provide valuable insight into current and future business and litigation risk. Mukunda is licensed in Arizona and Colorado and has an intimate understanding of the potential challenges clients face when operating in different states.
When out of the office, Mukunda spends time on the Arizona trails and finds new food and restaurants (some might even call him a foodie).
